  1. Welcome to Milne Library: An introduction to the library and its many resources

  2. This is the library’s home page - http://library.geneseo.edu/index.shtml. You will use this page to navigate to the many resources needed to do your research. You will also find information about the library such as its hours, maps, computer availability and events. I will click on Floor Plans to show where the many library resources are located.

  3. This is the main floor of the library. You will find important areas such as the reference desk, circulation desk and the reference collection. You will also find group study areas, photocopiers, scanners and many computer stations on this level.

  4. This is the lower floor of the library. On this floor you will find the print journal collection, the microfilm collection, newspapers and the Teacher Education Resource Center (TERC). The juvenile and YA books are located in the TERC area. You will also find computer stations, group study areas and photocopiers on this floor. Many of the classrooms used for library instruction are located on this level.

  5. This is the upper floor of the library. This is the quiet floor and talking is not permitted anywhere on this level. You will find most of the library’s collection on this floor, including DVDs, maps and CDs. There are study rooms available on this level.

  6. You are now ready to explore the library on your own!
