  1. LUAS PENGGUNAAN LAHAN Luas wilayah kecamatan Mojolaban pada tahun 2009 tercatat 3.554 Ha atau sekitar 7,62% dari luas Kabupaten Sukoharjo (46.666 Ha). Desa Palur merupakan desa yang terluas wilayahnya yaitu 409 Ha (11,52%) sedangkan yang terkecil luasnya adalah Desa Triyagan sebesar 168 Ha (4,73%). Luas yang ada terdiri dari 2.234 Ha (62,86%) lahan sawah dan 1.320 Ha (37,14%) bukan lahan sawah, dibandingkan dengan tahun 2008 tidak mengalami perubahan. Luas bukan lahan yang digunakan untuk pekarangan sebesar 88,56% dari total luas bukan lahan sawah. Prosentase tersebut merupakan yang terbesar dibandingkan prosentase penggunaan bukan lahan sawah lain.
