My Family. Maggie Herrera. Me. I was born on January 4, 1994 to Pedro and Janet Herrera. I am half-white and half- M exican . My Mom. My mom is Janet Carrillo. We have a close relationship and I know that she will always be there for me. My Dad. My dad is Pedro Herrera.

  2. Me • I was born on January 4, 1994 to Pedro and Janet Herrera. • I am half-white and half- Mexican.

  3. My Mom • My mom is Janet Carrillo. • We have a close relationship and I know that she will always be there for me.

  4. My Dad • My dad is Pedro Herrera. • He’s of Mexican heritage and currently lives in Mexico on his family ranch. • Growing up I was considered a Daddy’s Girl because I always wanted to spend time with him.

  5. Me and my brother • My brother is Pablo. • He is 5 years older than me but we were still pretty close growing up. • We may argue at times but he’s still a great big brother.

  6. My brother • This picture was taken the day he graduated from high school in 2008. • He has just joined in the U.S. Air Force to become a military police.

  7. My Grandma • My grandma is Carolyn Douberly , My mom’s mother. • We were very close when I was a little girl because she took care of me when my mom was working. • She passed away of heart disease in 2006.

  8. My Grandpa • This is Billy Williams. He wasn’t my biological grandfather but he was just as close to me as one. • He lived with Muscular Dystrophy until he died in 2009.

  9. My Stepdad • My stepdad is Mario Acosta. • He has been with my mom for the last four years and has been a big part in bettering our lives.

  10. My stepbrother • This is my stepbrother Luis. He is Mario’s 9 year old son. • He only stays with us during the weekends but he still manages to be a pestering little brother.

  11. Family friend • This is Ulices , Mario’s nephew. • He has been a good friend of mine for as long as my mom and Mario have been together. • He’s fun to hang out with because he’ll do anything no matter how crazy he looks.
