  1. Update on final state study Jaewon Park University of Rochester MINERvA/Jupiter Group Meeting, June 27, 2007

  2. Pi0 CAL • New code (batch mode) doesn’t have high side tail in (recoE-trueE)/trueE plot. • Further event selection can be applied. • Old analysis didn’t use n_hadron=2 condition. It’ll try to process “p pi0 pi-” event. Old plot

  3. Number of reconstructed tracks • If no proton track is found, it’s not easy to reconstruct primary vertex. • It’ll be useful to compare gamma direction from track and gamma direction from energy vector. Number of proton tracks Number of gamma tracks Gamma2 nTrk Gamma1 nTrk Proton nTrk vs. KineticE

  4. Reconstructed primary vertex • Reconstructed primary vertex is calculated from proton track’s start position. • Assuming proton makes ionization immediately, some of events are out of expected error. • If x or y coordinate is off, z coordinate is also off. recoX-trueX recoY-trueY Good event Strange event recoZ-trueZ (recoX-trueX) vs. (recoZ-trueZ)

  5. What’s going on? • Wrong startpos(nRecon) ntuple variable is found.
