  2. Instructies • Met dit programma ga je oefenen met English Grammar. • Je krijgt eerst een overzicht van the Tenses uit het eerste jaar. Als je op een van die Tenses klikt krijg je een uitleg blokje. • Heb je de uitleg gelezen dan klik je op ‘grammar expert’ om opdrachten te maken. • De opdrachten kun je gewoon in dit powerpoint programma maken.

  3. The Tenses • The Present Simple (onvoltooid tegenwoordige tijd) • The Present Continuous (duurvorm in de tegenwoordige tijd) • The Past Simple (onvoltooid verleden tijd)

  4. Wanneer? De Present Simple wordt gebruikt om: Gewoonte of regelmaat aan te duiden Feiten weer te geven Hoe? De Present Simple wordt gevormd door Stam van het werkwoordto work  we work Bij derde persoon enkelvoud: Stam + Sto work  he works The Present Simple

  5. Wanneer? Wordt gebruikt om aan te geven dat er nu op dit moment iets aan de gang is of gedaan wordt. Let vooral op tijdsbepalingen zoals now en at this moment. Hoe? Wordt gevormd doorto be (is,am,are)+ stam van het werkwoord + ingVoorbeelden: He is doing his homework.I am drinking my tea. The Present Continuous

  6. Wanneer? De Past Simple wordt gebruikt om aan te geven dat er iets gebeurde in het verleden Hoe? De past simple tense wordt gevormd:bij regelmatige werkwoorden: stam + edI worked in the garden yesterday.Bij onregelmatige ww is het per woord anders.we saw her last week. The Past Simple

  7. Present Simple ExercisesExercise 1 Write down the correct forms. Welk antwoord is correct? Klik op het antwoord dat volgens jou juist is, je ziet vanzelf of het wel of niet goed is. Klik op het vraagteken als je de uitleg nog eens wil zien, als je klaar bent klik je op de pijl om verder te gaan. Hi there! My name's Becky. My hobby (1) are / is swimming.   8. Exercise 2 Write the sentences Lees de zinnen hieronder door. In sommige zinnen kun je een verkorte vorm gebruiken. Schrijf die zinnen over MET de verkorte vorm op je antwoordblad. Klaar?   11. Present Continuous ExercisesExercise 1 Give the answers. Mbarek, Nicola, Jamie, Luke en Ginger zijn allemaal ergens mee bezig. Schrijf op wat ze aan het doen zijn. Schrijf bij elk nummer een volledige zin op je antwoordblad. (Gebruik het hele werkwoord dat achter de zin staat!) 1 Mbarek has a book in his hand. What is he doing? (to read) 2 Nicola is in the bathroom. What is she doing? (to wash) 3 Jamie is in the kitchen. What is he doing? (to cook) • Ginger is in bed. What is she doing? (to sleep) Ben je klaar?   12. Exercise 2 Choose the correct alternative Klik op het antwoord dat volgens jou juist is. My name is Jack Smithers. I live / am living in a terraced house in Limerick, Ireland. I was born in this house sixteen years ago. I go to school / am going to school just around the corner. I am sometimes doing / sometimes do my homework. In the weekends I make / am making music. I'm a singer in a band. Right now I listen / am listening to a recording of our own song. My dad is calling / calls from downstairs. I suppose I'll have to turn the volume down. Too bad. I often listen / am listening to loud music. I like that. My father is a writer. Writers are working / work at home. My dad hates music. If I want to listen to loud music, I have to use my earphones. I have another hobby: writing. At this moment I am writing / write about myself, just for fun. My friends are thinking / think I'm crazy, but I don't care. I write / am writing stories and letters.
