  1. BUCHAREST CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY The Bucharest Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at the service of the business community since 1868

  2. The Bucharest Chamber of Commerce and Industry represents and promotes the interests of the business community in the Romanian Capital City—the most important economic and commercial centre in the country, as one fifth of the companies registered in Romania have their registered office in Bucharest. These companies account for 35 per cent of total Romanian exports and 40 per cent of total imports. The Romanian Capital City is also the academic and cultural hub of the country, as well as its major financial-banking centre. At any stage in a company’s life, since its very set-up, the Bucharest Chamber of Commerce and Industry can supply expert consulting and services. We organise economic missions abroad and assist companies in their participation in leading trade fairs and

  3. exhibitions in Bucharest—those bearing the brand of ROMEXPO, a prominent Romanian fair organiser. We invite foreign companies and business people to come and invest in Romania in such fields as infrastructure, oil chemistry, energy, agriculture, tourism—sectors that boast special potential. The opportunities our country offers shall be promoted, starting this autumn, by the agency of the representation offices the Bucharest Chamber is going to open in high-potential zones from the Balkans, the Middle East, the ex-Soviet countries, as well as in several economic hubs in the European Union. I wish you success and invite you all to turn to the Bucharest Chamber as to a reliable partner capable to assist you in carrying out your future projects. Prof. Sorin DIMITRIU, Ph.D. President
