Generating Financial Success An overview of funding options for Community Renewable Energy projects Wednesday 15th May 2013 9.30am-4.30pmThe St Thomas Centre, Ardwick Green North, Manchester M12 6FZ Cost £10 including lunch. Bursaries available for unfunded groups. The day will explore a wide range of possibilities for financing community owned renewable energy projects. Expert speakers will provide information on putting together community share offers, available grants and how to maximise your chances of a successful application and accessing loan finance. There will be an emphasis on long term sustainability with the latest news on FIT (Feed in Tariff), RHI (Renewable Heat Incentive) and other ways to generate income. This event is for staff, volunteers, members and trustees from community renewable energy projects and organisations wishing to develop them. This can include community buildings and stand alone schemes at all stages of development. Anyone that supports such projects is also welcome to attend. Generating Success is a partnership between GMCVO, The Carbon Co-op and Merci supporting community renewable energy.
