Images in Photoshop and Webpages Changing the size Open the image in Photoshop Select Image in menu bar Select Image Size Set width or height of image Set Resolution to 72 (for webpages Under File in menu bar, select Save for Web Select gif or jpg and click Save Save in images in your cse625 folder

Images in Photoshop and Webpages Changing the size (another option) Open the image in Photoshop Use "selection" dotted rectangle tool to select part of the image Copy (keystroke=apple-C) Open new image (keystroke=apple-N) Press Return Paste (keystroke=apple-V) Make other adjustments Save in images in your cse625 folder

Images in Photoshop and Webpages Slicing Open the image in Photoshop Use "slice" knife tool to select part of the image Save for Web on Desktop as a .html Open same document in Dreamweaver (Notepad) In the "code" view select from <table> tag to </table> Copy (keystroke=apple-C) Open your own .html document Paste table where you want it in your html (apple-V) Move (drag) appropriate images from "images" folder on desktop to "images" folder in cse625

  11. Images in Photoshop and Webpages Hotlinks in a map Using Dreamweaver insert an image (from your cse625/images folder) Make certain properties are showing at the bottom Click on image In lower left select rectangle (or other shape) Type in link in appropriate box
