  2. Creating a Saltwater Ecosystem • Tang – These fish eat algae. They can grow to be over a foot long. They are some of the fastest fish that can be kept in a saltwater aquarium. • Eel – Snake like fish that are carnivores. Eels will eat almost anything that fits in their mouths. They are escape artists and should always be kept in a tank with a tight lid. They can grow to over three feet long. • Lion – It is a slow moving fish with large venomous spines. They are also carnivores that will swallow almost anything. They are usually red, black, and white striped. They usually grow to be eight inches long. • Clown – These fish eat both meat and algae. Clown fish only grow to be four to five inches. They live in an invertebrate called an anemone. It is a symbiotic relationship.   6. Mrs. Van Beck • I have two 90 gallon and one 20 gallon saltwater fish tanks. • Spending time working on the tanks is a big past time for me. Getting an ecosystem to work takes a lot of time.
