Marsville 2005 By "Mighty Mars" Patch In our astronaut training we did a lot of experiments. Most of our experiments involved spinning. It made me sick! We also did astronaut training in the gym. We were tested and marked on several activities.

  3. In our astronaut training we did a lot of experiments. Most of our experiments involved spinning. It made me sick! We also did astronaut training in the gym. We were tested and marked on several activities. We made posters and a tower made of clay and popsicle sticks. Astronaut Training

  4. Astronaut Training 2 • We made our team patch and put it on the internet for other people to vote for. • We voted for the patch that we thought was the best. • We our now working on our life support systems. • Our job is to find a way to live on Mars using the facts we know.

  5. Astronaut Training 3 • We have to consider that Mars has less gravity than Earth. • We have to do a lot of research to find facts. • Now we are doing a lot of drawings and more on how it’s going to look. • We are soon going to build it and it will look really pretty!!!

  6. Science Challenge • The science challenge is where we build our structure. • We started off thinking of what it was going to look like. • Then we decided how we were going to build it. • We had to make it using 3 rules.

  7. Science Challenge 2 • It had to be as tall as we could build it, as strong, and have the least amount of materials. • We made it in the shape of a square. • We also used a lot of supports. • Our was not strong but it did use not a lot of materials and it was as tall as I can make it.

  14. ☺Marsville Link-Up Day☺ 1 • Link-Up Day was alot of fun • The first thing we did was weigh our lunch. • The second thing we did was watch a video. • The third thing we did was sit in our group and talk to the people that are in our group. • Then we started to tape our plastic for our habit.

  15. ☺Marsville Link-Up Day☺ 2 • Next we started to cut out a fan hole, and tape the fan in it. • When the fan was done we blew up our habitat. • It was really neat!
