  4. Articles 1P The rules of Articles 2P Uju & Gary story → Read and fill in the blanks This assignment is not for grade, but for practice to our article skill.

  5. Sources 1. Outside sources has to be credible and reliable. My teacher said, "ICN is a world class airport." My teacher, who has visited over thirty countries, said, "ICN is a world class airport."  2. Information needs to be relevant and interesting. Also, It should helps to prove your argument. My teacher said, "ICN is a world class airport." →If you just stop here, this is not interesting. We need the reasons why ICN is a world class airport.

  6. Keys to Writing You don’t have to write a lot. The best paragraph Gary has ever seen in Sejong university is composed of just 8 sentences. Just keep in mind when you writing. Clear, Specific, Detail, and Concise.

  7. Keys to Writing Keep in mind! The reader has zero knowledge. You have to explain everything of your paragraph. The paragraph should be interesting and informative.

  8. Keys to Writing When you write something, The important thing is “Detail Information”. For example, Topic: Smoking should be illegal. 1. Medical costs : specific medical fee, the number of death involved with smoking. 2. Pollution: the number of cigarette pack and annual weight of waste.

  9. Fragment Fragment - Part of something A complete sentence has a complete thought. A sentence fragment is only a part of a sentence. It is not a complete sentence.

  10. Fragment • Time subordinator (Before, After, As soon as, While…) I walked Uju. Before I came to school, . → This isnot a complete thought. (D.C.) As soon as I woke up. I made a cup of coffee as → This is not a complete thought. (D.C.)

  11. Fragment • Condition subordinator (If, Because) , we’ll be a good writer. If we understand this class. →This is not a complete thought. (D.C.) I couldn’t arrive on time because Because I missed the bus. →This is not a complete thought. (D.C.)

  12. Fragment • Adjective (who, which, or that) Pedestrians who cross the street. should look in both directions. → This is not complete thought. (D.C.) This sentence grammatically correct. However, this is not interesting. You need more explanation about sentence.
