  3. HISTORY OF ADDIE 1975 - Created for use in the U.S. Army 80’s – Evaluation & Control was the last phase and it changed to Evaluation. 1995 – Was first used as an Acronym 2000’s – Gains intuitive insight into a problem.

  6. DESIGN Design your course. • What is your strategies? • Instructions for learning?

  7. Develop Develop your course material. • Build assignments • Build structure

  8. IMPLEMENT Start to teach. • Expectations • Instruction • Overview of course • Get feedback

  9. EVALUATE Outcomes of the course. • Did the audience attain the learning? • What did you learn? • What can you make better?

  10. SUMMARY The ADDIE Model is a model that has 5 phases that include: • Analyze • Design • Develop • Implement • Evaluate There are different kinds of versions of this model which is used by instructional designers.
