  2. Objectives • To give opportunities for bright Indonesian students but from underprivileged background taking undergraduate studies at a university which KEMDIKBUD and Bank CIMB Niaga recommend. • To prepare quality source of employees for the future of CIMB Niaga

  3. Scholarship Program • The scholarship program named Program BeasiswaUnggulan CIMB Niaga has been successfully conducted on 2009 and still running until 2014 • The first batch has 39 students and for second batch has 43 students from all over Indonesia, state universities, and diversified majors. • The scholarship scheme still be the same as last year i.e: • KEMDIKBUD bears on the tuition fees • CIMB Niaga bears on living cost, facilities and self development (based on CIMB Niaga’s approvals) • The mechanism program will also the same that is involving the State Universities that will be coordinated by KEMDIKBUD to recommend the appropriate candidates to be the scholarship recipients.

Universitas Indonesia UniversitasGadjahMada InstitutTeknologi Bandung InstitutPertanian Bogor UniversitasAirlangga Scholarship Program Role Sharing DEPDIKBUD CIMB Niaga State University • Selection process to choose the students who have good academic result • Propose the names of candidates to CIMB Niaga & DEPDIKBUD • Reporting the academic result of Scholars • Selection process to choose the recipients recommended by Universities. • Provide livingallowance, laptop & printer and other necessary facilities. • Monitoring Academic Result • Selection process together with CIMB Niaga choose the recipients. • Provide Tuition allowance • Monitoring Academic Results The recommended universities are: • UniversitasPadjadjaran • Universitas Sumatera Utara • UniversitasHasanuddin • UniversitasDiponegoro • UniversitasBrawijaya

  5. Program Mechanism DEPDIKBUD 1. Proceed the Candidates 2. Give the fund by opening account for every Scholars, under the name of DEPDIKBUD. 2. Select the Candidates University 1. Proceed the Candidates • Doing process selection • Proceed the candidates • Monitoring the academic result of Scholars • Reporting the academic result of Scholars CIMB Niaga
