  3. Wat is Narrowcasting? • Narrowcasting is het benaderen van één of meer specifieke doelgroepen door middel van adiovisuele displays (lcd- of plasmaschermen) die op afstand worden aangestuurd, op een specifieke plaats en op een specifiek moment.

  4. Geschiedenis Narrowcasting • 1968 door Joseph Licklider • Na prijsdaling schermen, stijgende populariteit • Nieuwe hype, als gevolg van zapgedrag

  5. Waarom Narrowcasting? • Met Narrowcasting wordt getracht de consument onderweg zoveel mogelijk te bereiken • Consument wordt aangetrokken tot bewegende beelden, in tegenstelling tot bv billboards en abri’s

  6. Effecten Narrowcasting • 68% verandert van gedachte bij het zien van een reclameboodschap bij het schap • Consument is dus erg beïnvloedbaar • Narrowcasting kan deze consument overhalen
