For detailed information regarding management of patients receiving a ketamine infusion refer to your local hospital policy or procedure. Summary of revisions: • Prescription is valid for 7 days unless ceased earlier. • Prescription page reformatted to reflect the National Inpatient Medication chart and incorporates a 4th revised prescription. • Prompt for concentration on the first row of the prescription. • Infusion start rate and infusion range displayed on one row. • The Yellow Zone clinical care instructions for dysphoric adverse effects present has been removed. Dysphoric adverse effects are not considered signs of a deteriorating patient. • Observation pages: prompt for cumulative dose has been included.
