  2. Let’s get started! • Set up and prep tables • Meet and greet students • Present idiom or special items • Sit with Partners and start group discussions

  3. Popular seasonal activities Getting your hands dirty can be fun! Costume clad participants showing off their jack-o'-lanterns.

  4. More than 72 participants carved pumpkins for the first time. No templates. Just good old fashioned creativity! Many volunteers contributed traditional Halloween & Fall treats.

  5. Winter means karaoke, food, good times and conversation! Santa will be coming this year with a special treat!

  6. Summer is the perfect time for sunny conversation and a potluck picnic in Central Park.

  7. Partners are important! For Fiscal year 2013 the Volunteers (Partners) donated an incredible 4013 hours. The average attendance for an ESL Conversation Class is between 60-70 people. Hurray!

  8. Getting Started! A $35,000.00 Pitch an Idea Grant from LSTA.
