  1. --TWO SHOT-- • MONTANA: Good morning, Knights, we’re back after a short break and we’ve got a brand-new episode planned that’ll knock your socks off. • KIKI: This week we’re covering Android, ASP, and even car accidents. • MONTANA: Hold on to your hats and hair pieces, because this week’s episode of the Studio starts now.

  2. MONTANA: What’s up, Knights? I’m Montana Griffin. . . • KIKI: And I may seem to be in the wrong place, but I’m KiKiMurphree. • MONTANA: KiKi, you have an iPhone, right? • KIKI: Yeah, and so do you. I don’t know anyone who would want an Android phone. • MONTANA: Well, apparently there’s an argument to be made for phones not of Apple origin. Zane and Donny have the story.

  3. KIKI: The Holocaust may seem like ancient history, but for some people, its horrors are with them day to day. • MONTANA: Phoenix sat down with a Holocaust survivor to learn more about this infamous historical event.

  4. KIKI: I feel so weird being away from sports. • MONTANA: Don’t worry, KiKi, sports are never too far away. Let’s throw it over to Nicole and B-Craft for all Higley’s sports news.

KIKI: And now for this week’s featured story. • MONTANA: As many of you know, ASP was recently put on hold for reevaluation by our administration. • KIKI:Rickyfinaand Jalyssa caught up with Mr. Richards to find out why it left and what the future holds for academic support period at Higley high school. • --ASP—

  6. KIKI: Looks like we’re at the end of our show, Knights. • MONTANA: Enjoy your weekend and we’ll see you all bright and early Monday morning!

  7. --ONE SHOT— • MONTANA: Last week, Mr. Anderson’s AP Macroeconomics classes performed a mock soap opera about inflation and its effects. Way to bring out your inner actors, guys!

  8. MONTANA: Congratulations to all students who took or retook AIMS this week for being invested in your education. Get ready for free prom tickets and parking passes!

  9. MONTANA: Need a new band to rock out to? Check out California band Young the Giant, an alternative rock group that just released their second album, Mind Over Matter. They’ve got a killer sound and some great tracks.

  10. MONTANA: Attention all members of tech for “Hairspray”: there will be a tech meeting after school today in the drama room. All tech members are needed, so please make sure you attend.

  11. MONTANA: Calling all lip-syncing knights! This is your shot to experience the old Higley tradition of lip-sync! HigleysStuCo has organized a Grammy-style competition and would love for you and your friends to be a part of it! Auditions for all solo’s, duos, trios, and groups, will be held in room 501 on Monday, March 3rd and Tuesday, March 4th from 2:45pm until 4pm. Anyone that is involved in after school activities, please see Ms. Gow for an alternative audition. Three prizes, consisting of $300 for first place, $200 for second place, and $100 for third place will be given on April 1st, the night of lip-sync. A sign-up sheet is be posted outside the StuCo room, room 501. See you there!

  12. KIKI: Last week was the fifth annual Taste of Higley event. Held in the Higley High cafeteria, this event helped to support academic excellence with live entertainment, a silent auction, and the famous wing eating contest. Thank you to all who participated.

  13. KIKI: Don’t forget that this month’s Deal of the Month is pink breast cancer awareness shirts for only $5.00. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Foundation to fight for a cure. Buy your shirt today in the Armory and support an awesome cause.

  14. KIKI: Have you ever been in or known someone who’s been in an accident? You’d be surprised how often and easily it can happen. Nicole and B-Craft sat down with a few Knights who know first-hand how scary it can be.

  15. KIKI: This week, students in Higley Geometry classes invented carnival-style toss games to test their math skills. Looks like they had a blast!

  16. KIKI: Do you remember your first concert? Your most recent? Jalyssa Brown sure does, and we would hope so, because she’s been to multiple shows in a pretty short amount of time. Brittny sat down with this Studio anchor to learn more about her adventures in live music.
