  4. The Kindness of the NativesActs 28:1-2 Malta was under Roman control Malta was settled by Phoenicians. Its name means “place of refuge” The natives showed “extraordinary kindness” God has placed His law on the conscience of all people

  5. The State of Natural Man The Immoral Unrighteous – Rom. 1:20-32 Obviously evil The Moral Unrighteous – Rom. 2:1-16 Nice, but they violate their own standards The Religious Unrighteous – Rom. 2:17-29 They violate their own religious codes All people need a savior (Rom. 3:9-11)

  11. Paul’s Healing MinistryActs 28:8-9 He healed Publius’ father from Brucellosis & dysentery – vs. 8 He healed all who came – vs. 9 Paul healed completely without regard of the faith of the person People who claim the gift of apostolic healing today are false

  12. Honored by the NativesActs 28:10 Their response demonstrates the effect Paul had on them They were honored in many ways including provision for their needs
