Areas Impacted by Search Updates • Previously, the MyFloridaMarketPlace team implemented the use of leading characters to help optimize system searches (and thereby reducing the user wait times for search results) • An example of a previous search optimization includes using leading characters when entering a Receipt ID on the Direct Order search (i.e., utilizing the leading characters ‘RC’) • The team has identified additional searches that can be optimized, and are included as part of the May 2006 release:

Areas Impacted by Chooser Updates • The team has identified an additional area for optimizing performance by requiring search criteria to be entered for chooser selections (meaning that the users will need to enter criteria when a ‘chooser’ is clicked) • This also helps the user to further refine the results that come back as part of the chooser search • Choosers that were modified, and are in the May 2006 release include the following:
