Moving Forward - Immediate • Common Core State Standards Implementation: • Tying IEP Goals and Objectives to CCSS • CCSS Assessment Accommodations (IEP Team/Test Vendor Resolution) (2015) • Idaho Results: • Continued focus on instruction practices and implementation • Tier III Implementation and Tier II Support • SPDG and SWIFT Integration • SSPC at ISU

Looking into the Future • New SPP/APR, or just one APR. • Reduction of indicators for compliance reporting/burden. • Elimination of Part B Indicators 15-20. • Yes, I really just did say Ind. 15.  • Elimination of Child Count Verification. • Emphasis on Improvement Planning: “Think RDA” • Both at the SEA and LEA Level. • 5 Year “SAM” Cycle now associated with LEA “PIR”. • Connection or “Bridges” to other System Activities: • MTSS • RTI • SPDG Efforts
