  1. Life at Deguang Class Trip to Taiwan Deguang Catholic high school 台南市天主教德光中學 Marquis Williams 王满骐

  2. Class上課 Although the classes are the same, I found that the students do not enjoy school. Talking to the students I discovered that the majority of classes are lectures making them both dull and boring. The vast majority of students say they don’t learn in school, instead they learn to take a test but forget everything afterwards. Sorry no class pictures available.

  3. What I think我的感想 I personally would completely fail in Deguang’s school. I can’t be lectured all day because my attention span is very short and the class would be boring to me, but the students here are really “smart” so its having some sucesss.

  4. Erhu and weaving二胡 艺术手工藝 I started to learn how to play the Erhu. I love the instrument and it’s a lot of fun to play. I learned how to play Mary Had A Little Lamb and Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star. I would love to continue learning how to play the instrument and get better at it. We also learned how to weave bracelets. I got pretty good at that also and its something I will probably do back in America.

  5. Cooking class烹飪 We made dumplings in class and it was a lot of fun. Our group had the best dumplings and they came out really good. Making the dumplings were really fun and it came out amazing.

  6. Calligraphy, fans, and Stamp making書法 球迷印章制作 The calligraphy was fun but I don’t think I was nearly as good as the teachers. I messed up on mine but the teacher’s liked it so I was proud. My fan was very nice. It had the characters for happiness written on it which made it even better. I really liked it. Finally our stamps came out great. I put my Chinese name on it which was really hard to do but came out really good.

  7. Historic sites 歷史古蹟 We went to a lot of places, like Confucius temple, National Cheng Kung University, and Tainan First Senior High School

  8. Food 美食 So much food here! STINKY TOFU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
