It comes in two forms Primer and First coat Primer:Used on new, uncoated surfaces, primer protects the material beneath and provides a good base for further coats First Coat: A specially formulated paint used to build up opacity beneath finish coats, one or two coats of first coat paint are usually required before the decorative finish coat is applied.

Water-Based and Solvent-Based Paints Paints are made up of pigment and a binder. Water-based (latex or acrylic) paints use water for a binder .These are Natural or eco-friendly They are made of renewable materials such as plant oils, contain fewer preservatives, and their manufacture is less polluting.
