  3. Character • Protagonist=Arran and Maxie • Antagonist=Adult Zombies • Arran is a static character • Maxie is a dynamic character • The Zombies are static characters

  4. Conflict • External and Internal • Person vs. Person • Person vs. self

  5. Exposition • The exposition action begins when Small Sam is taken by the Adults to the stadium

  6. Rising Action • The rising action begins when the scavenging party consisting Arran, Freak, Deke, and others, search the building • In the middle of the rising action, the scavenging party is ambushed by the Adults. Deke is killed and Arran is seriously injured

  7. Climax • The climax begins when Jester the magic man tells them that there is a safe place to hide

  8. Falling action • The falling action starts when they arrive at the Buckingham Palace and meet David King

  9. Resolution • The resolution is when The Waitrose crew realizes David’s ambition and escapes the palace

  10. Theme • “without friends the world is but a wilderness” • “The will to survive is greater than anything else ” • "Only trust the ones you know well"
