What is Science Chicago? • Science Chicago, spearheaded by MSI, was a collaboration of more that 140 public and private institutions • Science Chicagois “about helping kids of all ages unleash their inner scientist. We invite Chicagoans to discover and explore the inspiring world of science in our community.” • LabFestwas a series of 17 outdoor summer science fairs over a one year period where science and technology institutions from the Chicago area set up tents of displays and interactive learning exhibits. LabFests were held in numerous school districts and neighborhoods around the Chicago area.

  3. Kickoff event was at Museum of Science and Industry in September, 2008

  4. LabFest events were held at various public parks through the Chicago area open to general public this is us setting up at Marquette Park in June, 2009

  7. The LabFest Grand Finale happened last August at Millennium Park
