  1. What to Do in London in February February is a great time to visit London. Although the days are still cold, they are not as cold as other European cities, and are getting slightly longer as the month goes on. The holiday rush has also passed, and the city is not as congested. And of course, as always, there are so many things to see and do so book your stay in advance at any ​hotel near Wembley Stadium​ to not miss the amazing things to do in February.

  2. London Classic Car Show​. Car lovers can get the rare opportunity to see rare vintage and classic cars for sale. There are also talks, exhibitions and other features. But the highlight is an indoor runway where you can see some of the exhibited cars in action. In 2020, the event will be from 20 to 23 Feb at the Olympia. You can book tickets from their official site, which are available at a slight discount from on the day prices. The nearest tube station is Kensington (Olympia) although you can also get off at West Kensington or Baron’s Court, which are slightly farther away. London Winter Wander​. This walking event will take you around London to see some of its most iconic landmarks and ends at Trafalgar Square. In 2020 it will be held on 9 February at 10am, which is a Sunday, and starts at four locations around the city – Whitechapel, West Hampstead, Battersea and Bermondsey. Entries cost £10 per participant, but those over 55 go free. When you register, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Don’t forget to specify your chosen starting point.

  3. Magic Lantern Rave​. If you’re in the mood to party the night away, wear your most colorful outfit and go to one of Europe’s most colorful raves. The dance code is ‘hyper color’ and music is provided by Tech House, Bass House, and DnB. The rave will be held at Troxy, from 11pm 28 Feb to 2am 29 Feb. Ticket prices range from £21.85 to £38.93. The nearest tube station to the venue is Stepney Green, although you can also get off at Mile End or Whitechapel, which are slightly farther away. Kew Orchid Festival​. This annual celebration of the orchid marks its 25​th​ anniversary with displays inspired by the plant and wildlife of Indonesia. There will also be Indonesian food, music and dance during after-hours, and half-term events. In 2020 the festival will be held from 8 February to 8 March at the Kew Gardens.   4. Kew Gardens​ has their own tube station, which is around nine minutes away. You can also get off at Gunnersbury, which is slightly farther away. Imagine Children’s Festival​. You can spark your child’s creativity and their imagination at this twelve-day festival. The program includes music performances, storytelling sessions, and parties. A highlight is the Imagine a Story creative writing projects. Students from over 30 schools have created a story, with each school contributing a chapter. The story will be performed during the festival and also published as a book, which will be on sale during the festival. The festival will be held from 12 February to 23 February at the Southbank Center. Ticket prices vary, depending on the event you want to attend. The nearest tube station is Waterloo, although you can also get off at Southwark Tube and Lambeth North, which are slightly farther away.
