  2. “BAT’s … “Be Able To” for this session • Identify the four (4) key objectives of the new KI Quick Ship Program. • Identify the seven (7) product categories included in the new KI Quick Ship Program. • Identify the product options (i.e. fabrics, laminates, paints, etc) available on the KI products selected for the new KI Quick Ship Program. • Identify and understand the important Ordering, Pricing and Shipping Policies and Procedures required to ensure the success of the new QSP Program.

Does KI currently have a Quick Ship Program? • Yes … KI has a well-defined, “world class” QSP Program • No … KI has not had a QSP Program for several years • Sometimes … when Reps/DRs beg for an improved PSD • Rarely … when KI ships orders early at month-end • KI’s current QSP Program is one of KI’s best kept secrets

How do I determine if a KI product is in the current QSP Program? • Look in KI’s “stealth” Quick Ship Price List • Do a “Google Search” and find out that KI’s website has a complete list of all KI Quick Ship products. • Guess ! Sales Reps are pretty good at that anyway. • Call RJR’s Hot Line. • Scour the current KI Price Lists searching for the elusive black diamond next to the model number and options.

  6. What leadtimes are available with the current QSP Program? • Two weeks plus however long it takes to enter the order • Standard KI leadtime pulled in when order is entered. • Depends on product .. anywhere from 5 days to 4 weeks • Must call KI Customer Service to confirm QSP leadtimes available for the week. • What QSP Program???

Would a New KI QSP Program help you increase sales? • No … the current KI Quick Ship Program is perfect and meets all of my customer’s expectations. • Yes … I wasn’t aware that KI had a Quick Ship Program. • I don’t need a stinkin’ Quick Ship Program to sell. • Don’t know … what is a Quick Ship Program?

Key Objectives of New QSP Program • Create an additional sales tool for our Reps, DRs and Inside Sales Specialists. • Increase sales of KI products targeted toward Business market, Small Business market and Administration Areas in core markets. • Help level load production by increasing sales during historically off-season or lower volume sales periods. • Eliminate the mystery and confusion surrounding any existing KI Quick Ship Programs.

QSP Program Overview • KI products selected for the QSP Program will be targeted toward an “everything for an office” concept with a Good, Better, Best option (in most categories). • All QSP products will have consistent color options whenever possible • A separate QSP Price List and QSP Brochure is required. • Leadtimes marketed as shipping from factory in “10 days or less”. • Same day order entry is required. • QSP leadtimes should be available year-round.

Approved Quick Ship Color Options • Frame Colors (4): Black, Warm Grey, Light Tone, Chrome (when applicable) • Laminates (6): Grey, Silicon Evolv, Wild Oats Matrix, Storm Grey Silica, Kensington Maple, Cherry Storm • Fabrics (5): Foundations (crepe fabric): Black Iron, Tungsten, Shiraz, Blueberry, Tumeric • Vertical Fabrics (5): Naturalize Vertical Surface Fabrics: Stone, Mineral, Butterscotch, Granite, Green tea • Commodity Only available in colors options currently available on imported products (Note: different from KI’s standards colors)

Quick Ship Ordering Policies and Procedures • A Quick Ship Purchase Order Cover Sheet must be sent with all Quick Ship Purchase Orders. • All products on Quick Ship purchase orders must be Quick Ship Products. No splitting of purchase orders. • QSP purchase orders must be faxed to KI Corporate at 800-405-2264 prior to 2pm CST. Order received after that time will be acknowledged as received the next business day. • QSP POs must be received complete. • Must order in quantities at or below the published maximum order quantity in each product family. • No cancellations or returns will be accepted on QSP purchase orders

  32. No Special Costs Request (SCRs) or Special Pricing Agreements (SPAs) are allowed. Quick Ship Discount should not exceed the standard discount loaded on the customer’s account with KI If ordering customer does not have a loaded discount the following guidelines will apply: End User/Dealer = 50 off or less (subject to RVP review) DR = 50/10 State Contract Pricing will be allowed if all KI products on PO are QSP products and the State Contract is clearly identified on the PO. Quick Ship Pricing Policies and Procedures

  33. All QSP Products will ship directly from the KI manufacturing location in “10 working days or less”. No consolidation of orders or shuttling of product to a single location will be allowed. Delivery date will be dependent on standard shipping times from the KI manufacturing location. Any expedited freight charges must be on the PO. All QSP Products will be shipped in standard cartons and packaging. KI will select carrier to be used to ship all products on the Quick Ship Purchase Order.
