Introduction • Our DVR (Digital Video Recorder) is an advanced, total system solution that provides monitoring and recording the images from the video inputs like CCD cameras, C-TV, etc,. • The system is based on standard PC platform Windows 2000/XP(H.E). • To use our system : • 1) Install our DVR capture card in your system and connect cameras to the video • input of capture card. • 2) Install drivers of capture card. • 3) Install our DVR programs –DvrMainXPro(Home) V.XX.X.exe • - There are 2 versions in our DVR program • * Pro DVR Version : We recommend to use only in DVR system for professional • security. • * Home DVR Version : You can use DVR system for normal PC program for • home or SOHO user. • Our System is consisting of two major components : DvrMain and DvrRemote. • DvrMain : Consists video capture board and Main System Application. • This system is responsible for the monitoring and recording of the video event • from the cameras. • There are 2 versions in our DvrMain programs explained above. • DvrRemote : This is a Network Application program. • Thisapplication is for viewing video surveillance system’svideo event from • a remote PC through LAN or internet. ------------------------------------------- User’s Manual NBCard V.3.0.3

  4. 2-1. Display screen functions 10 1 2 3 4 7 5 9 8 6 Chapter 2. Display Mode Install related devices – Camera, Sensor, etc., - And double click DvrMain icon in the desktop screen. If you connect all camera correctly, monitoring screen appears as below. 1. Date and Time Indicator – Displays current date and time. 2. Function Panel– For Search, Setup, Forced recording, PTZ Control, Snapshot, Snapshot Viewer, Alarm OFF, POPUP 3. Picture control buttons : Control brightness, contrast, hue and saturation. 4. Sensor inbuttons(1-4/8/16) – Turns the button color yellow when connected sensor has been activated. If you press the activated button, turn the connected control device OFF. 5. Controlout indicator – Turns button color yellow and activate connected alarm device when an sensor has been activated 6. Camera Select andRecordingStatus Buttons – Single camera display select and indicating recording status. (Turns button color red and flicker) 7. Network state Indicator – Flickers means that someone is connected via network 8. Screen Division, Full Screen and Auto switching Buttons 9. Power button – You can choose power (System off) or Windows mode. You can set the ID/password and control level in option setting mode. 10. Display screen minimize button.   5. 2-2. Operation Chapter 2. Display Mode Channel selection and Recording status -The number colored circle(1-16 or 1-8 or 1-4) located in the lower part of the screen indicates the camera number and recording status of the camera and channel selection. - Flicker thechannel number indicator means recording now. VIEW It is not necessary to use the screen division buttons located in the lower left corner of the screen to change the camera view. You can use the left and right mouse buttons to instantly view a single camera or remove the menu bars from the display. To change screen view : 1. Move the cursor to the desired camera view and double click with the left mouse button. A single view of the selected camera appears. Double click the left mouse button one more time to return the previous multiple screen view 2. To switch to full screen view(remove menu bars from the display), click the right mouse button on the screen. Click the right mouse button one more time to return the previous view. Sensor in and Control out Sensor in buttons(1-16 or 1-4. 1-8) Control out LED(1-4) Beefs (or alarms) and flickers when sensor is activated. If you want to cancel the beefs (or alarm), just click the number that flickering. Picture quality adjust Adjust the brightness, contrast, hue, and saturation by dragging the designated buttons. Display Mode Screen Division, Full screen and Auto switching buttons Quad display, cameras 1-4 ,5-8, 9-12, 13-16 at each click 9 cameras display, cameras 1-9, 10-16 at each click (in 8/16 channel model) Displays all 16 cameras(in 16 channel model) Full-screen display – Removes menu bars from display. Double click the right mouse button to return to previous screen display. Sequencing mode – Sequence using single, four, or nine camera displays.   8. 3-1. Overall guest XXXXX Chapter 3. Setup Mode To setup the this Digital Video Recorder, use the left mouse button and click on the option setting button located in the function panel. Option setting button This function is used when you need to setup a new environment for DVR, but users can not change setup at his disposal without password. - You need to set password in the setup mode. - Initial ID/password is guest/guest. If you type correct ID/password and click “OK” , setup mode screen shows as below. -If you do not set password, just click “ok” ------------------------------------------- User’s Manual NBCard V.3.0.3

Rotation Interval : Set the rotation time between picture division 4. TV Out : Click and set the desired channels to display in the TV monitor by 1 channel rotationally and rotation interval. 5. Rebooting : Set the day and time system will reboot. - If you do not set this rebooting, system rebooting 1 time/week automatically. 6. Language : Select the language which you want. 7. Add Printer : You can set the printer. 8. Snapshot - If you want to use snapshot function, you must check Channel. -Channel : When you click Snapshot button, channel No. will printed in snapshot picture. -Comment : When you check Comment, channel name will printed in snapshot picture. -Display Mode : Check the channel which you want to capture the image. * If you do not check the Channel and display mode, snapshot does not work. 9. LogFile Setting : Check the item which you want to record the event in log file. 10. Setup Mode 1) Click the use box to enable a camera for setup. 2) Enter or Click the name, event recording, popup, sensor and ptz use if you want to use or setup each function. 1. use: Click the use box to enable a camera for use DVR recognize this check and check the camera work well or disconnect. -In case of 4/8 channel, the number appears from 1 to 4(8). 2. name : Enter the camera name (location, etc,.) in the name box 3. event recording : By storing the previous image when motion or sensor is detected, you can check before and after context of event. You can set the image of previousevent by frame numbers. (Max 5 frames) 4. popup : Check the channel you want to popup when motion or sensor detected. - Popup work only when you set as below 1) Check channels in camera setup 2) Set the motion area in motion/sensor setup 3) Motion, sensor, motion_sensor recording setting in recording setup 5. sensor : Enter the sensor number to trigger the camera 6. Recording method and schedule - You can set recording method by each pixel. 4. Schedule copy - After set one channel, you can set all channel same easily by schedule copy. 5. Holliday setting - If you set a day for holiday, that day work same as Sunday. 6. Frames per sec : Recording speed setting 7. Resolution : Picture resolution setting (320x240, 640x240, 640x480) 8. Compression quality : Selection of compression picture quality -Low (Low picture quality) : When recording scope is very wide range. -Middle(normal picture quality) : When recording scope is narrow. -High(High picture quality) : When recording use auto PAN/TILT/ZOOM function. -Super(Best picture quality) : Special use. 9. Select the sensor up to the number of installed sensor. -In case of 4 channel, the number appears from 1 to 4. 2. Name : Enter the name of the sensor in the name box 3. NO, NC : Set the type of sensor 4. Duration(sec) : Select the keeping time of automatic “ON” state by the second that work after sensor is detected. 5. beep : Beeps when sensor is activated. 6. control : Enter the control output number that you want to connect and activate, when sensor is detected. Control Output 7. Use : Set the external control output 1~4. Select the sensor up to number of installed sensor. 8. Name : Enter the “machinery name” you desired to control . 9.   13. 3-6. Motion & Color setup 1 3 4 5 2 6 7 8 Chapter 3. Setup Mode 1. Channel select button to setup motion & color -In case of 4/8 channel, the number appears from 1 to 4(8). 2.3. Motion area setting : To select a detection area, move the pointer to the desired area. Hold down the left mouse button and drag over the area. Release the left mouse button to end selection. A maximum of 10 detection areas can be set per camera. If you want to delete a area, simply drag the area to the out of the window. 4. Secret channel : If you check “use” in specific channel, checked channel display color pattern bar instead of camera image. But the camera image will recording. 5. alarm color : Line color selection when motion is detected in detection area, 6. sensitivity : Adjust the sensitivity of the detection areas. 7. beep : Beeps when motion is detected 8. Setup Mode After you install DVR program, you must to set up media to start recording. 1) Select recording drive in 2. 2) Click “Add” button to set the recording spaces. - Repeat same step to set another drives for recording drives (spaces) - Display the information of each added recording drive in window 1. * Pro version programmed that C: drive cannot record the images for system stability. 1. This window displaysthe information of HDD for the DVR recording space. If this window do not display drives, DVR can’t start recording. 2. It displays total space and free space for selected drive. 3. Add -It use to add drive to recording space for DVR. -If you select specific drive and click “Add”, selected drive display in window. Then selected drive use as recording space for DVR. 4. Delete - To use delete drive as not use recording space. 5. E-mail Setup E-mail function works only when SMTP server does not require ID and password. 3.   19. 4-1. Overall SEARCH Chapter 4. Search Mode To search the this Digital Video Recorder, use the left mouse button and click on the SEARCH button located in the function panel. This function is used when you need to search the recording images of the DVR, but users can not search at his disposal without password. - You need to set password in the option setting mode. - Initial ID/password is guest/guest.   21. 4-3. Index search and Screen Division Buttons <Normal screen playback> <Full screen playback> Chapter 4. Search Mode You can use index search for quick search by recording event (All, Motion, sensor). Click the button which type you want to search. Motion Motion or Sensor Sensor All Screen Division Buttons 9 division Full screen 4 division 16 division You can playback the recording images in any screen mode(1/4/9/16) but the playback speed is slower in multi screen division mode than 1 screen mode. If you want to playback in full screen, click button or click right mouse button on the screen. Tool bar disappears during the playback in the full screen mode.   23. 4-5. Backup 1 XXX 2 3 5 4 6 7 Chapter 4. Search Mode Click the backup button( ) in the search screen. - Backup image cannot be done when the viewing screen is divided. Before you click backup button, select desired 1 channel. 1. Select Still picture or Motion picture 2. Enter the file name. 3. Select the Star time and End time of backup images. 4. Select backup device. (CD-RW or other drives) - CD Format support only DirectCD type. 5. Select the option -Watermark 6. Click on the calculate size button.- It will take time to calculate the backup image size. -In case of FDD, file size must be under 1.4MB -In case of CD Disk, file size must be under CD disk size(usually under 750 MB) 7. Search Mode The Watermark tool allows you to verify if an original image has been altered. The Watermarking check is available by DvrPlayer. Watermarking operation 1. Start DvrPlayer. 2. Open backup file which you want to check. -The backup file must to check watermark in option when you backup it. 3. Click the option and check the authentication in DvrPlayer. 4. Select one camera. - Printing an image cannot be done when the viewing screen is divided. 2. Click the PRINT button. The PRINT window appears as below. 3. Use Save, print, size control, close functions as your purpose. Refresh Recording data during the playback does not display in the recording status window. Search Mode If you want to mark specific scenes during the playback (search), use bookmark function located on the top of search screen. Delete Go/Start -Add : Add to bookmark list -Delete : Delete selected event -List : List the bookmark -Go : Do to selected event If you click list( )button, below screen displays. 1. Displays event number in sequence. 2. Displays importance in three level (High, Normal, Low). - You can set the importance in the right side. 3. Displays the time where you bookmark. 4.   28. Chapter 5. Forced Recording Forced recording Button Forced recording function use when suspicious moving happens in the screen. If you click the forced recording button, DVR will record all channel continuous mode with full speed during 10 seconds. ------------------------------------------- User’s Manual NBCard V.3.0.3

  29. PTZ CONTROL Button 1. Click the button on the function panel, then below panel appears. -If you set the password at setup mode, you need to type ID and password. PTZ Camera control To operate pan/tilt/zoom functions on controllable systems do the following : 2. Select a camera number. 3. Use the buttons to pan left and right. 4. Use the buttons to tilt up and down. 5. If required use the FOCUS settings (+/-) to obtain the clearest picture. 6. Use the ZOOM settings (+/-) to zoom far/near.   31. Snapshot Button Snapshot Viewer Button Chapter 7. Snapshot and Snapshot Viewer If you press this button, images in the display screen will recorded still picture in the snapshot folder To see this still picture, use snapshot viewer button below. * To use snapshot function, you must set the below 2 setting in the system setting of option setting. -Check the channel and display mode in snapshot menu. To see recorded still picture with SNAPSHOT, click snapshot viewer button. Then select the specific image which you want . * Recorded images in snapshot folder (or directory) store only 7 days. Dvr system delete the images automatically for system efficiency after 7 days. 1. Selection of directory or folder 2.   32. Alarm ON/OFF button Popup button Chapter 8. Alarm and Popup ALARM If connected camera does not work, alarm or beefs sound occur. To off the alarm sound, use alarm on/off button. Alarm sound can select in system setting .(Default is beef sound) POPUP If you want to popup the screen in full screen when motion or sensor activated in specific channel, use popup function. You can choose the usage of popup and channels in the camera and recording setting. * Popup function operate only when - You check the popup usage channel in the camera setting. - Record program is motion or sensor recording mode in the recording setting. - In case of motion popup, you must set the motion area. ! IMPORTANT : Channel selection buttons and screen division buttons have priority to popup function. When you control manually channelselection buttons or screen division buttons, popup function stops automatically. ------------------------------------------- User’s Manual NBCard V.3.0.3

REMOTE SOFTWARE If the main DVR have connected with network (LAN, ADSL , Modem, etc,.), you can connect and perform monitoring, search without additional hardware from remote place. Our remote software use TCP/IP protocol in network program. There 2 ways to connect to main (server) DVR. 1) Web Brower : Web server function already included in main DVR program - Use 80 and 3040 port for port forwarding. 2) DvrRemote program : You need to install our remote program in your PC. Use 3040 port for port fording. 1-1. Network setting of main DVR - If you want to connect to main DVR in remote place, you need to network setting of main (Server) DVR. - You can setup network setting in window mode. 1-2. REMOTE SOFTWARE You can connect to main DVR by Web Browser (Internet Explorer). 1) Open the Internet Explorer. 2) Type the ip address or domain name of the main DVR which you want to connect in the address bar. 3) If you connect to main DVR for the first time in the remote PC, security warning will appear as below. Click Yes and wait to download the necessary programs from main DVR. 4) After download finished, network screen appears as below. Type the correct ID/Password registered in main DVR, then same images of the main DVR will display. - If you use port forwarding (IP sharer, etc,.), use port number. - If you do not use port forwarding, default port number is 3040. ------------------------------------------- User’s Manual NBCard V.3.0.3

REMOTE SOFTWARE -Free remote site software is included with the this DVR to provide remote site viewing of live and backup images. The software is compatible with Windows 98SE/ME and Windows 2000/XP. -You can also connect multi remote viewing and backup in one remote site. To install the remote users software: 1) Start Windows 98SE/MEor Windows 2000/XP. 2) Close all programs, including any anti-virus programs. 3) Insert the CQONE CD into the CD-ROM drive. 4) The Windows Setup wizard starts. Follow the instructions that appear. 5) The software installation program appears. a. Install Microsoft Direct X 8.0 over. b. REMOTE SOFTWARE IF you want to connect server DVR in remote place, first you need to register the server DVR ip address or telephone number in this window 1. Type the necessary server information you want to connect in 1, and click add button in 2. Registered server DVR information will display in window 3.  You can register multi server DVR by repeat same steps. 2. Use add, delete, modify button to modify the server DVR information. 2. If you registered all server DVR address you want to connect, you must to click apply button in 4. 4. Click “Group” tab, and follow the next step explain in next page. 1) Main name : Server DVR name you want to connect. 2) ID/PW : ID/Password must to matched registered in server DVR. 3) IP : IP address or domain name of the server DVR 4) Port : It used in firewall system work. REMOTE SOFTWARE After you registered server DVR information in “Main”, you need to register the monitoring group. - You can monitoring multi server DVR in one remote place. - You can connect 16 channels in one group and can make up to 100 groups. 1. Type the Group Name in 1 and click New Group in 4. Then group name will created in window in 2 which you typed. - You can create multi group name and you can register 16 channels in one group. 2. After you create the group name, you need to match the server DVR channels connect to remote group channel. - Remote channel : Channel number display in remote screen - Main name : Select Server DVR name which you registered in Main will display. - Main channel : Sever DVR channel number to display in remote screen defined in remote channel.  You need to repeat same steps in each channels. 1) Use buttons in 4 to modify the each setup. 2) After you setup all group, you must click apply button. ------------------------------------------- User’s Manual NBCard V.3.0.3
