  2. So far, you have learned that there are 3 personal pronouns (er, sie, und es) which can replace der, die, oder das. • z.B.  • DerSommeristheiß.  Eristheiß. • Die Lehrerinsteht an derTafel.  Siesteht an derTafel. • Das Landistgroß.  Es istgroß. • These are the nominative personal pronouns.

  3. The accusative personal pronouns… The accusative case for personal prounouns (er, sie, und es) is ihn, sie, und es. NOTICE!!!! Only the masculine pronoun ,,er’’ changes to ,,ihn’’. Sie und es stay the same! z.B Dieter kaufteinenKuli.  Dieter kauftihn. Kennst du Frau Kuhlmann?  Ja, ichkennesie. Gabi siehtdas Fernsehprogrammgern.  SiehtihreFreundinesauchgern? **In English, everything is “it”! But in German, it has a gender!!
