  2. Favorite argument free-write • In the context of argument, what is one of the most significant stands of claim and evidence you have seen or heard about? What is the most interesting or beneficial pieces of argument you have ever encountered? This can be something that has applied in your lifetime or something that has happened long before you were alive.

  3. Argumentative oral presentation • Students will give an argumentative speech about a topic they select. You will be assessed on content and delivery. • Rubric • Students will also turn in a two page paper (MLA formatting). This is all due on Friday.

The paper is due at the end of the hour on Friday. You may not work on your paper during class Thursday or Friday.
