Current Draft Status • Draft 2.0 clearly identifies the information to be provided to non-AP STAs as a generic container. • Additionally, it is proposed that 3GPP, as both a widespread standard and a potential user of Interworking with External Networks, be assigned an advertisement protocol ID. • The summary provided to 3GPP SA2 will be updated to include the advertisement protocol ID. Items Proposed for Addition to Draft The following additions are suggested: • Advertisement Protocol information element (7.3.2.60) • Adding an Advertisement Protocol ID for 3GPP to the current definitions in Table 7-43u • Adding a description of the 3GPP information element • dot11StationConfigEntry (Annex D) • Add the 3GPP Advertisement Protocol ID to the dot11GasAdvertisementID OBJECT-TYPE George Bumiller, Research In Motion
