  4. วิเคราะห์สนามบินนานาชาติสุวรรณภูมิ กับการขนส่ง และโลจิสติกส์ Greetings 25-28 September will be the official change over of airports in Bangkok. Dong Muang (the old airport) will no longer be receive any scheduled or regular charters flights & will be become ICAO classified DMK on the 28thSeptember Suvarnabhumi (the new airport) will be where all these scheduled and regular charter flights will be operated to and from & will be ICAO classified BKK on the same date. The web-site address for the new airport is http://www.airportsuvarnabhumi.com/ If you are travelling to/from Bangkok in the first month or so of the airport change-over, it is recommended that you proceed with extreme caution. Everyone is forecasting major problems with the new airport logistics and serious delays are expected due to issues with passenger & cargo ground handling, customs, cargo facilities & systems and other reasons not fully explained to one of our colleagues who has just returned from an inspection After 28thSeptember Dong Muang (DMK) will be allowed to accept ad-hoc charters but, the Dept of Transport is doing all possible to force all operators to rebase to Suvarnabhumi (BKK), our guy there says there are lots of rumours that Dong Muang (DMK) could be closed for 7-14 days to force operators to leave. Already scheduled airlines who are transferring to the new airport are starting to announce embargos on belly freight & some full freighter operators are cancelling flights during the change over week.   5. วิเคราะห์สนามบินนานาชาติสุวรรณภูมิ กับการขนส่ง และโลจิสติกส์ (ต่อ) Expected Problems upon opening New Airport, and Taking Measures It has been announced by Thai Government that New BKK International Airport (Suvarnaphumi) shall open at 03:00 (AM) on 28 SEP, transferred from present one (Don Muang). However, it is not still clear about the new flow (regulation, operation, process, etc.) of export & import cargo at the area of Suvarnaphumi New Airport. And some part of the facilities (Free Zone Warehouse for Forwarders) is not ready enough yet, therefore forwarders have been facing the difficulties that we must continue setting up under the situation without fixed information and uncompleted common facilities, in order to minimize the confusion to the related valuable customers.   8. ค่าใช้จ่ายที่สูงขึ้น -> ต้นทุนโลจิสติกส์ที่สูงขึ้น • Terminal Handling Charges • 150 BHT/HBL -> 250 BHT/HBL (ขาออก) • 1 BHT/KG -> 2 BHT/KG (ขาเข้า) • ค่าบริการระบบ ACCS 1 BHT/KG • ค่าเช่า Warehouse 270 BHT ++ • ค่าเช่า Office 350 BHT ++ • ค่าขนย้ายสินค้าจาก Terminal Operator ไปยัง Warehouse (ปัจจุบันยังไม่กำหนดอัตราจัดเก็บ)

  11. VAT refund unpon Zone-entering • The Bonded Logistics Park enjoys the same preferential treatments as adopted by Free Trade Zone. With regards to Imp./Exp. Customs duty, BLZ follows the active policies in Export Processing Zone, which means the domestics goods will be regarded as exported upon the delivery to zone, therefore the exporter will be required to go through export formalities and the VAT will then be refunded.If the goods that stocked in the zone are to be distributed to the domestic market, importation formalities should be honored. Goods transactions within the zone are free from VAT and consumption tax.
