The power plant will be designed to produce 1000 MW on a platform and can be located about 30 Kilometers off the coast. This will be on a Floating semi-submersible Offshore Platform type in class ABS/DnV that resists 1000 years return storm, quite stable for the harsh environment of the Bay of Bengal and of the Tropical oceans.
