  1. Electrical solar powered car Dyutit Mohanty, Arun Goud, Pradyumn Reddy Mallepally Pradyumn-10, Dyutit-10, Arun-11 Andhra Pradesh, India

  2. Have a great idea for an invention • Our idea for the invention is a solar powered electrical car. It pulls a trailer which has a rod attached to wheels which is an axle connected to a gear. The gear has a chain with spokes to hold objects such as seeds which need to be planted. The car has a 2/4 solar cell which provides it with power to pull the trailer.

  3. Investigate inventions and ideas of the past • The solar panel which was invented some time ago combined with the tractor which was invented in the 1900’s is equal to our invention which is basically like a tractor pulling a harvester running by solar power. • Therefore the solar power thus makes the car environmental friendly and useful. • The car has a camera on it like a motion picture camera which was invented by Thomas Alva Edison. The remote also has a camera which shows the directions of where the car is going. It also has a light which works in the night by charging the lights in the morning by solar energy. The lights make the area around the camera bright.

  4. Draw pictures and diagrams to show your invention and how it might work.

  5. Build your prototype or model of your invention. The invention has been completed, besides the fact that the motor of the car spins so rapidly that the wheels are thrown off. The car can be powered with a D-cell battery on days without sun or at night. The D-cell battery can be used for emergencies. When it is stuck in the mud, there is an alarm attached to the remote which makes a sound and blinks while the car is in trouble.

  6. Test your invention During tests with the motor, the car’s wheel spun so rapidly that the wheel was torn off. Also when the car was put on the ground its wheel stopped spinning. Sometimes the wheel would spin but there was no grip on the wheel so the car continuously kept skidding.

  7. Keep improving your invention. • We have to improve upon the solar system of the remote and the car. We also need to put grip on the tyres to keep the car from skidding. The motor also needs to be lifted so that the wheel doesn’t stop when it touches the ground. The vehicle also needs a more powerful motor to keep the wheels moving. The D-cell battery also is weighing the car down.

  8. Market your invention to people who might buy it.
