The ASSET test is a test given by colleges to make sure students get placed in the proper classes. • The categories of the test are math, reading, and writing. • The test is designed to determine how much students have learned in their 12 years of schooling prior to college. What is the ASSET test?

  5. 3 Basic Tests: Writing • Writing Skills Test: • There are 36 testing items in this test. • Including: Grammar, sentence structure, writing style and strategy and punctuation. So What Does the ASSET Look Like?

  6. 3 Basic Tests: Reading • Reading Skills Test: There are 24 testing items administered in this test. • You are required to make rational deductions from the information presented in text form. • The inferences are to be drawn from the passages. So What Does the ASSET Look Like?
