  3. Tallinn • July 7 - 12 • Attractions: Old Town, Lower Town, Toompea, Kadiorg • Hotel: Savoy Boutique Hotel, $627

  4. Old Town • Old Town dates back t the 13th Century. • A well preserved medieval trading city. • Major Baltic Sea port and industrial center

  5. Tallinn • Restaurants: Vertigo & Le Bonaparte. Lunch & dinner about 800 Kroonis each, or $65. • Both restaurants feature traditional Estonian food with a modern feel.

  6. Kuressaare • July 13 – 17 • Attractions: Medieval Episcopal Castle. • Hotel: Ekesparre Residence Hotel, $685

  7. Medieval Episcopal Castle • It’s the only intact medieval fortress in the Baltic countries. • It was originally built to house the bishop. • Built around 1470.

  8. Kuressaare • Restaurants: Café Noir & Da Vinci food. Lunch and dinner about 500 Kroonis each, or about $41. • Traditional Esonian food with a French twist.

  9. Tartu • July 18-22 • Attractions: St. John’s Church, Barclay Square. • Hotel: Dorpat Hotel, $347

  10. St. John’s Church • Protestant church built between 1880 & 1882. • One of the best-preserved churches in the country.

  11. Tartu • Restaurants: Ólle Tare, and University Café, both about 500 Kroonis, or about $41 each for lunch and dinner. • Traditional Estonian food & modern foods.
