Higher Computing Project Overview Learning Areas Levels Age 17 Objectives • Pupils acquire necessary academic and social learning skills • Pupils acquire necessary practical ICT skills • Pupils acquire necessary awareness of generic ICT issues • Teacher acquires knowledge and experience in using co-operative learning • Teacher acquires knowledge and experience of AifL principles Description • To revise content of the Higher Computing course using video conferencing, website, blogs, e-mail and an on-line formative assessment tool. • The content will be re-inforced using teaching techniques that incorporate co-operative learning strategies. Pupil personal learning planning will use AifL principles.
