  5. Stubborn • We all have opinions and reasons • If you have good reason, stick to your guns • Ask yourself if you have good reasons • Lots of work to fix something is a good reason, but be honest about it • You may get into 'conflict.' Resolve Quickly!

  6. Conflict Resolution • Focus on performance and ideas • Listen to others • Identify concerns • Apply the team's responsibility contract • Develop and plan to resolve • Mediation • Delphi Technique

  7. Clarity of Communication • People hear what they want to, and remember even less • Every meeting you should take your own notes • Every meeting someone should email a summary to the group with action items Are there any questions?

  8. Non-Communicative • I just ignored someone, what are they thinking? • Will they listen to me? • Will they be spiteful in return? • What if this was an email? • Is it any different? Why? • Respect?
