  4. Uitkomstmaten • Slechte uitkomst (overlijden of afhankelijkheid van zorg) • Secundaire ischaemie (klinisch danwel op basis van CT) • Rebleed • Bijwerkingen van behandeling

  5. Outcome • 7 trials geschikte resultaten • Andere trials: • Onduidelijke definitie slechte outcome • Alleen rapportage van ontwikkeling van ischaemie • Te vroege follow-up • Relatieve Risicoreductie op slechte outcome 18% • Absolute risicoreductie 5,1% • Number needed to treat: 20

  6. Outcome • Bij weglaten grootste trial voor nimodipine: • RR: 0,83 • 95%-CI: 0,67-1,03

  7. Conclusie • Effect op outcome lijkt gunstig, echter bij weglaten van grote trial effect niet meer statistisch significant • Alle studies wijzen wel in de richting van gunstig effect en gezien het geringe bijwerkingenprofiel van orale nimodipine is behandeling zeker te prefereren
