Love – the Foundation Galatians 5:1-6 1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. 2 Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing. 3 And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. 4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.

Love – the Foundation 5 For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love. Love is paramount: Love should be the chief motivator for action. Just as God’s Chief motivation towards us was LOVE – Genesis 1:26-28, John 3:16

Without Love = Nothing 1 Corinthians 13:2 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. Without love we are nothing, no amount of faith will be effective.

The Power of Love Ephesians 3:14-21 • 14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—

The Power of Love 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. The exercising of our faith through love results in GOD Wisdom & GOD Power God loves us Dearly! He is not part of the problem nor the problem-giver

Beloved Jude 1:20-21 20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. Notice that we are beloved Our faith is most Holy The source of love is in knowing that we were first loved - Beloved

Perfect Love 1 John 4:17-19 17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. 19 We love Him because He first loved us. Perfect Love casts our all fear… Faith cannot be fully effective in the presence of fear Fear is a fruit of the unbelief seed Fear counter balances Faith Perfect Love casts out all fear…

  10. In Summary • Faith exercised in an atmosphere of love is powerful • Love is the foundation over which we build our faith • Perfect Love casts out all fear leavening Faith pure and powerful
