  2. Slips, Trips, and Falls • Among the most common accidents in the workplace • Cause nearly 700 fatalities • Cause more than 250,000 injuries in the workplace every year • 80% of fall related fatalities are due to falling from a higher level to a lower level

  3. Slips, Trips, and Falls • Not all falls are from a high to lower level • Things like obstructed walkways, loose floor materials, slippery walking surfaces and cords or wires can be fall hazards
