  3. Festival info The festival is under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. the Abu Dhabi Science Festival (ADSF) a globally awarded strategic initiative organized by the Abu Dhabi Technology Development Committee, aims to inspire the Nation’s youth with science-related hands-on activities and is part of a wider strategy to build a talent base in Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) in the UAE.

  4. Event Overview • This year ADSF returns for its 3rd edition with new locations. • Date: 14th November-23rd November 2013 (10 days) • Location: Abu Dhabi’s du Forum on Yas Island and the Abu Dhabi Corniche, East Plaza along with activations in Al Ain, Al Gharbia, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. • This year ADSF plans to welcome around 25,000 students.

  5. Programs • This year, ADSF will host even more exciting scientific experiences building on the success of the previous two editions. Visitors can look forward to an array of new and exciting workshops, shows and interactive exhibits.  The following pictures are some of the programs which represented in the festival: - Kids Dig The Bubble Workshop Tone Tubes

  6. Science Communicators • Science Communicators have a key role in making ADSF a huge success. Hundreds of locally recruited higher education students will be trained by world-class experts to become Science Communicators at ADSF this year. What does The Science Communicator do? • These students will facilitate the Festival’s many workshops; inspire the youth, explain the thrilling exhibits and perform exciting science demonstrations.

Self Development • I can say that I really enjoyed being part of the festival, and it was nice to meet different people from different countries and to work with them as a group. • I hope to work again as a science communicator in the future because it is a chance to get knowledge and to learn new things about science • I can say that I learnt how to organize my time and to work hard in my work to get the best results.

  9. Conclusion • I can summarize my experience during the festival by saying: (Amazing, lovely, attractive, Interesting and informative).
