There may be some bruising and swelling with some discomfort following the surgery. A compression garment will need to be worn to keep check over the swelling. Pain and discomfort usually subside within a week to 10 days’ time and one can resume routine light activities after 10 days. Sutureifanywillberemovedafter2weeks.Swellingmaytakeup to4-6 weeksfor completeresolution. In order to achieve the toned and contoured upper arm, one has to accept the scar on inner side ofthe upperarm.
