Specific Function – SELF ADAPTING PARAMETER RESET • Thanks to lambda sensors, ECU adjustsinjection time, in order to have the correctfiring. • ECU recordsanydifferences (due to componentswear) respectbasiccalibration. • So ECU self-adapts to new conditions and it’sable to keep the new configuration, evenwithoutbatterysupply or centralunitreplacement. • It’snecessary to performSELF ADAPTING PARAMETER RESET everytime technicians replaces an engine component as: • Rail • Injector • Pressure reducer • Temp./Pressure sensor • Lambda sensor • ECU
