  2. Institution Profile • Location: Brockport, NY • 264 acre main campus • Public University: 7,128 UG, 1,115 graduate students • 758 faculty members

  3. Summer Research Program • Running since 2010 • Approximately 25 students/ year • Primarily Biology/ Chemistry/ Physics/ Psychology. Smaller numbers form arts, dance, communications, criminal justice, history, and English. • Supported by the Brockport Foundation (fellowships) and the College (residence hall) • NIH, NSF grants support a few students.

UR Program Director Profile • Adam Rich, Biology, Associate Professor • Summer Research Coordinator • Chair UG Research Committee • Organize application/ review process, summer program, orientation, workshop series, social events, fall poster session • Work with Brockport Foundation/ Academic Advancement to secure funds • Develop a SURP Pamphlet for Promotional work, videos etc.
