Our distinctive academic programmes and innovative teaching methodologies encourage students to develop critical-thinking and to develop key personal and social values, to take ownership for his/ her choices and to set goals to realize their own unique potential. At Presidency School, Ajmer , we aim to empower our students to grow as individuals with strong open discerning minds with an international perspective, preparing them to make a mark in the world. Here at Presidency we value igniting the spark of creativity and curiosity in our students and we strive to provide an environment that is basically sacred, and has a framework of discipline that is flexible yet supportive, a freedom that allows students to learn even from their mistakes and to develop into person moulded by the correlatives of freedom and responsibility. EXPRESSIONS A BOOK AND A READER The synopsis looked good, the cover looked nice, you opened the book, and began a new life, You found a new home, you met some new friends, you kept on reading, hoping it would never end. You danced through the pages, you sang out the words you felt all their joy, and all their pain and hurt The pages cut your fingers, and the words cut your heart, Like the author had a knife, And was tearing your soul apart you laughed with the characters, and with them you cried, you fell in love with them too, but with them you died, And when the book reached its end, and your broken heart couldn’t heal, you suddenly realized that its not real. EXPRESSIONS OUR GENERATION Our generation will be known for nothing Never will anybody say, We were the peak of mankind That’s wrong, the truth is Our generation was a failure, Thinking that We actually succeeded Is a waste and we know Living only for and power Is the way to go Being loving, respectful and kind Is a dumb thing to do Forgetting about that time, Will not be easy, but we will try, Changing our world for the better Is something we never did, Giving up Was how we handled our problems Working hard Was a joke We knew that People thought we couldn’t come back That might be true, Unless we turn things around. EXPRESSIONS UNIVERSAL EYE I hold many truths I have seen many people jumping from the roofs isn’t able to understand Why can’t they fight back or defend and then in my veil they repent They seek their companions in my parts intentionally ignoring the fact that they are apart I am the sky unwantedly so high easy to see hard to touch but harder to be one Samridhi Jain XII Humanities
