  3. The history of computers starts out about 2000 years ago, at the birth of the abacus, a wooden rack holding two horizontal wires with beads strung on them. When these beads are moved around, according to programming rules memorized by the user, all regular arithmetic problems can be done. Blaise Pascal is usually credited for building the first digital computer in 1642. It added numbers entered with dials and was made to help his father, a tax collector. In 1671, Gottfried Wilhelm von Leibniz invented a computer that was built in 1694. It could add, and, after changing some things around, multiply. Leibniz invented a special stepped gear mechanism for introducing the addend digits, and this is still being used. Back

  5. I have a computer. It has a black monitor, and a black and silver PC. It’s my family’s best friend. My mother can send emails with it, I can play computer games on it and my father can do business on it too. It’s very useful. There’s no accidentally in this world, there is only necessity.

  6. The computer has many functions. There are computer games, Microsoft documents, internet and ext in it. I usually use the internet for finding information for study. And I play computer games on the weekends, too. I can write emails to my friends, type compositions, chat on QQ and watch TV on the computer. I take much enjoyment from the computer.

  7. The computer is 2 years old now. It was bought last May. It’s very old for a computer, so it has many viruses. I need to delete many viruses every time I go onto the internet. That’s a tough job. Though there are many viruses, the computer’s speed is still very fast. I have a cousin. He likes playing computer games as well. He comes to our home and plays computer games with me every weekend. We all like the computer. The computer’s very important in our daily life. We can’t live without computers. Computers are our friends. I love computers, and I dare computer love us too! Fortune’s wheel is running, fate is in our hands, don’t let is disappear.
