Practical Steps for Leading a Church off the Plateau • Cast a gripping vision of what the church could become. • You must see the vision as a possibility and then lead your people to see it as a possibility as well. • Groundwork to achieve the vision must be done. • Here are some of the BIG ones: Build relationships as early and often as possible, Train staff and laity, Keep vision casting, Pep up the music just a little, Keep growing the prayer partner ministry, Help new members fit in, create new ministries that will facilitate growth, Preach & Teach on what it takes to be a healthy growing church, change the perception that everyone is a minister at this growing church!
