  1. PRLog - Global Press Release Distribution Air Pollution A Major Contributor To Lungs Related Disease Proper environmental care and raising awareness about air pollution can help a lot of people to remain disease free in such scenarios. NEW DELHI, India - Nov. 5, 2016 - PRLog -- The air pollution levels actually decides the health of an individual to a great extent and this a true fact. With the increasing pollution levels in Delhi, we all can notice high level of smog all around Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad and Gurgaon region. With increased pollution levels which have been categorized as severe in index the level of air pollution is also termed as hazardous as per Air quality index. The air quality level is directly proportional to our health condition. When categorized as good the air quality is considered as satisfactory and the air pollution possesses no or almost little risk. When ranked as moderate the air quality is acceptable, however, for some pollutants there may be a moderate health concern for a very small number of people. The same air when becomes unhealthy as per air quality index, everyone may begin to experience health effects and the members of sensitive groups may experience more serious health effects. And the final condition, when the air becomes hazardous, there are more health alert and everyone may experience more serious health effects. The weather department says that lack of wind led to little to no dispersal of firecracker emission, as was the forecast. In Delhi Pollution Control Committee's the data has shown a concentration of more than 2.5 PM (particles less than or 2.5 micrometers in diameter) peaked at a whopping 883 micrograms per cubic meter. The concentration is around 14 times more than the standard of 60 micrograms per cubic meter. Anand Vihar is found out to be the most polluted when it came to PM10 (particles with a diameter of 10 micrometers or less). There has been an increased level of around 1,680 micrograms per cubic meter being recorded as the peak at 3.30 a.m. on Monday. It is more than 16 times the safe limit of 100 micrograms per cubic meter. The festival of light has turned up to be festival of air pollution this year. The Diwali crackers along with high humidity, low temperature and low wind speed in Delhi have helped the air to accumulate a lot of polluted particles. The highest wind speed dispersed pollutants, but it has been in the range of 0.3 metres per second and 2 metres per second since Saturday. Generally the wind speed is between 2 metres per second and 4 metres per second in the capital. The air quality saw a drastic change after 7 pm, when fireworks were started. The air quality in Delhi was already saturated with pollutants accumulated due to trans-state movement of pollutants. The cumulative effect of existing pollution load and pollutants resulted in due to fireworks had also affected the individual who has lungs related disease. 2. PRLog - Global Press Release Distribution million patients of asthma across the whole nation. With increased pollution level the air has caused more inflammation of the lungs and narrowing of the airways. This has caused a sensation of tightness in the chest, shortness of breath, wheezing and coughing. Prof S K Chhabra India's Best Pulmonologist in Delhi says that in such situations when the pollution levels are too high in the air, the patients suffering from asthma episodes could have an asthma attack which could be of fatal nature. We all know that asthma is not currently curable and damage that is done to lung tissue during asthma attacks may lead to permanent damage. Prof S K Chhabra is one of the Best Lung Specialist in India, Delhi, the head of Pulmonology department says that exposure to air pollutants is largely beyond the control of individuals and requires action by the public authorities at the national, regional and even international levels.
