  2. Natural Disaster project • Task: To inform your classmates about the topic of your choice (from chapters 10 and 11). You will also present this to the class. • Groups of: 2-4 students • If your group does not work well together, I will switch you OR I will consider making you work alone on the project.

  3. 1. Choose one from the list below. Only one group will cover each topic: - Earthquake -Rock Cycle - Volcano -Minerals - Mountains -Rock types (3) -etc.

  4. Marking • Your project will be worth 50 marks. • There will be a rubric posted on the wikispace later on. • This is a group project, however if one person does not work as hard as the other group members, I can modify the individual mark.

  5. What you must include: a) Topic you have chosen. b) What causes/effects can it have on people? c) Find examples of your topic in the news or on websites. d) Include pictures, videos, books, or articles to show the class. Make this an interactive presentation as much as possible. e) Include ALL the websites, and/or other resources you have used. f) Activities, a quiz, a game, etc., to test students on your topic. You can also include: • a model of your topic.
