Es un espacio natural protegido de la comunidad de Castilla y León. • Es un lugar perfecto para hacer turismo ya que incluye parcialmente a los términos municipales de Alfoz de Bricia, Basconcillos del Tozo, Valle de Manzanedo, Valle de Sedano, Valle de Zamanzas, Valle de Valdebezana, Villaescusa de Ebro, Tubilla del Agua, y Sargentes de la Lora
